In 1974, the first Ronald McDonald House opened, thanks in part to the support from McDonald’s franchisees, suppliers, employees and customers. Together, they helped provide the stability and vital resources families in need require.
As a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization, RMHCSC raises our funding locally, relying on support from individuals, corporations, businesses and foundations.
Since 1987, RMHCSC has been McDonald’s charity of choice. Their ongoing support has been invaluable.
Every time you drop coins or bills in the McDonald’s canisters, buy a Happy Meal or french fries, use the mobile app and/or Round Up your total purchase, your donation stays local, helping keep families together.
Today, there are 379 Ronald McDonald House’s worldwide. Annually, Ronald McDonald House Charities’ family-centered programs serve more than 10 million children and their families.
Our heartfelt thanks to McDonald’s for their decades of support, helping us give families with seriously ill children the best medicine – each other.
McDonald’s Owner/Operators provide support to RMHCSC in a variety of ways –
- By providing monetary contributions
- By providing meals and snacks for our families
- By serving on our Board of Directors or on a committee
